In the 1830 Census, Polly Hasting is head of household in Little Creek Hundred, Sussex Co., DE with 0000200000000-0102110100000. In 1840, she is in the records as Mary Hastings, widow, with household of 0000100000000-0000210010000 stating an age of 60-70.

Polly Hastings, widow, wrote her will on Jan 31 1845 and it was proven in Sussex Co. DE on Oct 22 1845:
- To Peter Hastings, $25 from Willam Gordy that is due to me
- To daughter Fanny Hastings, bed/furniture, half dozen stools, walnut table
- To daughter Molly Hastings, bed/furniture, young cow and half a case of drawers
- To three youngest daughters Molly, Nancy Hastings and Chally Elliott, negro boy Richard to be hired out and his wages to be divided between them
- To daughter Chally Elliott the other half of the case of drawers
- Moveable property to be sold and divided between my five daughters Fanny Hastings, Betty Gordy, Hetty Linch, Molly Hastings and Chally Elliott
- Archelus Hastings to be my executor

Polly is likely buried in an unmarked grave in the Archelus Hastings Cemetery north of Delmar, DE.
