She was a tiny baby when her parents died and her young life was not an easy one. She lived with first one brother or sister and then another. She planned to be a trained nurse from the time she was a small child and after graduating from high school at Harvey, IL, entered the Jackson Park Hospital, Chicago, IL to take a training for nursing. She stayed there about a year when her sweetheart of high school induced her to marry him. They are now as happy as can be in their home at Harvey, IL."
