From "A Hitch Orchard," Daisy Hitch Davies, 1931: "Laura was younger when her parents died and she lived with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sullivan of Oakland City, IN for some time, later being with her sister Viola and then with her brother Morton. After her marriage she lived at Chicago where her husband was employed. She and her husband now (1930) reside at Goshen, IN where he is the manager of a department store."
