He was a blacksmith. His death certificate says he was a blacksmith and died on Mar 1 1906 of brights disease only 3 days before his brother, Lemuel Hitch. He had moved to Wilmington, DE by 1868 when he is listed in the city directory. ![]() Daniel married Mary Louisa Knox, daughter of Samuel Knox and Sarah (?), about 1870 in DE. (Mary Louisa Knox was born in 1848-1849 in Sussex Co., DE 7 8 9 and died on 22 Dec 1922 in DE.) |
