Grandma Louise was a grand lady, very hard working, always doing some thing for others and she worried about everyone and everything. She would always ask me how every one in our family was each time I would stop in for a visit. She was always hustling around the kitchen giving me sugar cookies or any thing she was baking or cooking and she waited on grandpa hand and foot while he sat in his chair smoking cigarettes. She came to America when she was six years old, growing up with her parents in Newton Twp. Jasper Co., IN. Marvin Nesius 5-3-2004

Louise came to America in 1885, arriving in New York on March 2, 1885, she was 6 years and and 11 months old.

Louise married Franciscus Xavier Nesius, son of John Joseph Nesius and Mary Anna Steffgen, on 20 Oct 1897. (Franciscus Xavier Nesius was born on 06 Nov 1874 in Orland Park IL, died on 23 Dec 1964 in Rensselaer In and was buried in Rensselaer, Jasper Co, In Weston Cemetery.)
