Elizabeth Thompson wrote her will on Dec 16 1780 and it was proven on Sep 26 1789 in Queen Anne's Co. on with the following provisions:
- To son Joseph Thompson, one negro girl about 7 or 8 years of age
- To three sons William, James and John Thompson, and daughter Elizabeth, w/o Thomas Harris 1/3rd of personal estate after debts paid.
- The other 2/3rds to equally divide between daughter Margaret Thompson and sons Joseph and Richard Thompson
- All my wearing apparel is not included in the above and daughter Margaret shall get that.
- Appoint sons William and James as executors
