*Note, this Nathaniel Shiles does NOT fit correctly as a son of James Shiles (1796-1831/39) - the birth year of 1811 does not match to James/Polly Shiles marriage in 1814. Perhaps the birth year is wrong or perhaps Nathaniel is another cousin or other relative. He is placed here as a placeholder and possible son of Jesse Shiles until further research can be had. He moved to Wabash Co., IN before his marriage there in Sep 1837 and a Directory Map of 1875 indicates he settled there in 1833.
