Robert WARREN

In the Sep 1655 court records for Northampton County, VA, he is shown as Robt Warren, age 40.
He received a land patent in 1657 for Whitelaw tract N27 in Northampton Co., containing 150 acres.
Also for tract N27, Usetis and Margaret Saunders sold any rights they might have to Robert Warren in 1667.

He wrote his will on Nov 12 1673 and it was proven in Northampton Co., VA on Mar 27 1679
Gave his entire estate for the use of wife [no name given] during her widowhood, and of my children.
My friends (Lt. Col.) William Waters and Mr. Francis Pigot to care for my wife and children.
My son James Warren to be executor.
All my land to my above said children.
Witnesses: John Willett, John Adolph.
Upon the petition of Owen Marsh and Jane his wife for admin of the estate of Robert Warren dec'd, the said Jane's former husband. A copy of the said will appearing wherein the said Warren's youngest son James is nominated Extr. It is therefore the judgment of the Court & accordingly ordered. That the Sheriff give the said James Warren notice to appear at next court to prove his father's will or relinquish the same and that the Overseers of the said will have likewise notice thereof in the behalf of the said James Warren, he being a minor.
