E:102 Burton Waples 16 August 1796 To eldest daughter Agnes Waples - the western part of the land where I now live called Batchelors Lot (which I bought of my brother Peter Waples). Beginning at a corner marked red oak near the head corner of the land laid out for a town called Warwick and the head corner of land that I purchased of Catherine Godwin and running until it intersects the land formerly belonging to the aforesaid Peter Waples deceased and now belonging to Thomas Waples and then along the dividend until it intersects the land of Nath. Waples and along the dividend until it intersects the land called Warwick. Also Negroes Tab and Jack. Also the remainder of my forest resurvey tract excepting what I was, by bond, to make over to Abraham Harris To daughter Comfort King - the half of a tract that I bought of my uncle Paul Waples, his son William, Comfort Burton and Betty Wharton, being part of a tract called Eleven Hundred Acre Tract. This being the southwest part of said tract adjoining the part belonging to William Rigware and Nath. Waples on the west and on the south, the land belonging to Joseph Waples; and on the north, the land belonging to the heirs of Benjamin Burton and containing 200 acres. Also, a Negro girl named Sall To daughter Anne Hall - the other half of my land bought of Paul Waples, his son William, Comfort Burton and Betty Wharton adjoining the lands of Benjamin Burton deceased on the north and on the east, the lands of William Hanzor and Joseph Waples and on the south, the lands of Joseph Waples and containing 200 acres. Also, Negro girl Hess To grandson Woolsey Waples - the remainder of the tract whereon I dwell called Batchelers Lot and being the eastern part of the tract which I bought of my brother Peter and adjoining the Indian River. Also 10 acres which I bought of Catherine Godwin adjoining the aforesaid land. Also 75 acres which I bought of Stockley Waples deceased being a part of the land called Batchelors Lot and part of the land called Cheat. If Woolsey should decease without heir, the lands to my grandson Wallace Waples To grandson Wallace Waples - my tract bought of Thomas Prittyman and also that which I bought of my brother William Waples deceased which adjoins. If Wallace should decease without heir, the lands to my grandson Woolsey To grandson Burton West - all my tract in the Broadkiln Forest which I bought of Ezekiel Townsend and which was made over to me by Joseph Brother and John Virden deceased and being 120 acres. Also 60 acres out of my forest resurvey tract adjoining the aforesaid tract on the north side. If Burton should decease without heir, the lands to my grandsons Jacob Bounds and Williams Bounds.
