Paul Waples
On Aug 1 1763, in Sussex Co., DE, Paul Waples, and his son William Waples, Comfort Burton, widow and relict of Joshua Burton dec'd, Baker Wharton and his wife Betty, all of Worcester Co, MD, and now deemed alias s. Sussex Co, PA, sold to Burton Waples of Sussex Co., blacksmith, 408½ a., part of three tracts surveyed and laid out to Richard Bundock, 400 a. and 300 a. more residue by virtue of a warrant granted to Marthew Ozborn on 24 June 1682... conveyed to Robert Burton, Senr. in 1715 and he by his will dated 16 Sep 1724 bequeathed the tract to his wife Comfort and three daughters Sarah, Ann and Patience, wife of Paul Waples. 408 ½ a. fell to Paull Waples and his wife Patience. Paul married (?) (?). Paul next married Patience (?). |
