To son Benjamin Phillips - all that tract called Potomack containing by patent 35 acres with so much of a resurvey thereto to begin at the bounder of Potomack and running to the opposite corner of the resurvey
To wife Sarah Phillips and my son Joseph Phillips - the free use of the following parcels of land. All that part of my resurvey that is between Benjamin's devise and the land of my son John Phillips. Also a piece of the said resurvey that lays across my peach orchard and will be between Benjamin's and my son Sheppard's. Also the use of all that my tracts of land called Crooked Project the Elder and Crooked Project the Younger. This is to include my dwelling house. That my wife and son Joseph support my son Shepperd Phillips "now decrepid and living with me". Also to wife and to Joseph the 102 acres of a new survey called Division situated on the north and west of my old lands
To son Joseph - after wife's death, the full use of 40 acres out of Crooked Project the Younger and the tract Division. Also Negro man Tom, a black walnut desk, an arithmetic book called his

To son Shepperd - the free use of the west end and room of my dwelling house and the adjacent shed "during his life or decrepid circumstances and that he shall have the liberty to put a bed and other conveniences therein if he thinks it needful. Also part of tract Crooked Project the Elder . Also Negro boy named Caleb, bed and furniture and my big Bible and the armed chair
To daughter Polly - that my son Joseph and my wife should not "interrupt or disannul" my said daughter the use of the dwelling house during her single life
To son Spencer Phillips - remainder of the aforesaid resurvey and whereon are two small plantations. One I purchased of Urania Otwell and the other of Richard Ellingsworth. This being east of his brother John's land. Also another tract I have lately taken up called The End Of All containing 40 or 50 acres. Also Negro boy Jacob, bed and furniture and $20
To wife Sarah - Negro girl Amy and Negro man Levin. After wife's death Levin shall "serve his time out with either of my children that he may incline most to live with & his choice so made shall be binding on him & that child to keep him till they part by death"

To daughter Mary - two small Negroes named Harry and Alice and bed and furniture, cow and calf, spinning wheel, walnut table
Whereas Joseph Brotherer, by his last will and testament, left me the care of his aged wife, my mother in law, to me; with a small estate for that purpose. Part of which is yet in my hands. My desire is that my said mother-in-law, Elinor Brotherer should have the liberty to reside and live in my mansion house and the remaining part of her living shall go into my wife's hands to support her said mother
