He wrote his will Jan 16 1730 and is was probated in Somerset Apr 20 1730: - To sons Jarrett and William, my eldest sons, 100a tract HOGG DOWN that I bought of Giles Bashaw. - To son Jarrett, cow/calf, feather bed and furniture, iron pot, frying pan, dish, two plates and a tankard, one porenger, sow/pigs, and ewe/lamb. Daniel Corbitt shall live on said land where he lives for 5 years paying rent to said Jarrett/William - To son William, cow/calf, ewe/lamb, sow/pigs, a dish, two plates, tankard, one porenger, a "cattesle bed rug", blanket, pot and a pan - To son Thomas, my now dwelling plantation of 100a - if he dies w/o issue, it to go to my youngest son William. Also he gets my gun. - To youngest son William, 70a on my plantation that I bought of Graves Jarrett. It to go to Thomas if William dies w/o issue - To wife Ann negro man Senton during her life then to sons Thomas and William, she also to be executrix - Remainder equally divided between four youngest children Thomas, Wiolliam, Ann and Eleanor Witnesses: Daniel Corbitt, John Collins, Thomas Gillis (SoW-EB9:132)
NOTE - he calls son William both eldest and youngest in this will - not sure how.
Thomas married Ann Jarrett, daughter of Graves Jarrett and Mary Gillis, about 1707 in Somerset Co., MD. (Ann Jarrett was born in 1695-1696 in Somerset Co., MD and died after 1747 in Somerset Co., MD.)
