Know all men by these presents, I, Elinor Mattocks, widow & late wife of Alexander Mattocks of Northampton County, dec'd, do make over unto my own proper use and to be at my disposing as I think fit without any molestation or hindrance from any these things following (vizt): one mare almost two years of age and three cows, which with all their increase during my life are to be at my disposing, & 1 bed stead, as I shall think fit and one feather bed with all furniture thereto belonging & one looking glass. These things within mentioned, I, William Bosman do ratify & confirm unto her and do acknowledge it to be done by my free consent unto which I have subscribed my hand this 11 Feb 1660/61.
Know all mem by these presents, I, William Bosman, do give & make over unto Elior Mattocks one breeding ewe with all her increase to be at her disposing as she shall think fit & for true performance hereof I have hereunto set my hand the day & year within mentioned. To all Christian people to whom this present writing shall come known, that I, Elinor Mattocks, late wife of Alexander Mattocks of Northampton County, dec'd, do for the tender love, care & affection of a mother unto her child, I do give & make over unto my son Son Lazarus Mattocks, these things following (Vizt): one copper kettle of about 16 or 18 gallons, one iron spit, one pair of pot hangers, two pewter dishes, one chest & for performance hereof, I have hereunto set my had this 11 Feb 1660/61. Know all men by these presents, I, William Boxman do give & make over unto Lazarus Mattocks, one ewe lamb with all her increase, both male & female, unto him and his heirs to enjoy peaceably & quietly without molestation or trouble from any person or persons whatsoever & for performance hereof, I have hereunto set my hand this 11 Feb 1660/1661. Recorded 15 May 1661.
