Charlotte McDorman
Charlotte was the wife of George Arnold Noble; and mother of George, Julius, Laura, James, Addie, Esther, Nora, Ellen and Denwood Noble. She was a lifelong member of the St. Stephens Methodist Episcopal Church in Oriole and took an active part in religious and social activities. Her mind was keen and clear up until the end. When Charlotte died in August 1930, she was the oldest resident of Somerset County. The local newspaper claimed that she was 101 years old. She was survived by six children and fifty two grandchildren. (From findagrave.com) Charlotte married George Arnold Noble, son of Thomas Noble and Sarah Ballard, on 17 May 1853 in Somerset Co., MD.
