He first shows up in the Somerset Tax Lists for 1745 suggesting he turned 15 that year.

On Mar 22 1753, land consisting of 115 ac: from RICH SWAMP, MEECHES HOPE and 80 ac CHANCE, 100 ac of SHIELLS FOLLY [inferred] from Levin Dashiell, planter, et ux. Bridget Dashiell to Isaac Dashiell, in consideration of MITCHELLS IMPROVEMENT (in Somerset) conveyed to Levin by Thomas Dashiell (son of George Dashiell) (SoLR-A:291) [cf. <S>A:207 for this earlier conveyance]

Henny Dashiell --daughter; bay mare called "Venus" and "her mother's riding saddle and Bridle"
Susanna Guibert --friend; young horse called "Buck" and ,20 current money to be paid out of the estate
Patience Dashiell --daughter, Jane Dashiell --daughter; remainder of personal estate not already given to be divided among them and Henny to have their shares as they arrive at age or on day of marriage. If they marry before age 21 and without consent of William Allen of Worcester County, then they are to be dispossessed of their inheritance
Patience Allen --friend (wife of William Allen), to continue to be guardian over children.
George Dashiell --brother; to be guardian to children should Patience Allen die before they come of age or marry.
Littleton Dennis --of Worcester County; to be guardian in the case that George die or refuse to act as guardian at the death of Patience Allen
William Allen --friend; instructed to bind out William to such trade or business as he thinks suitable, executor of the will.
