On Aug 20 1714, John Freeman, planter et ux Tamsey Freeman sold to John Holloway, planter land 160a TEAGUES CONTENT for 10,500 lbs of tobacco. This is the same land John Holloway (as Sr.) sold (with wife Mary) to son Thomas Holloway on Nov 4 1752. (WoLR-B:475)

He is still living at the time of the 1740 Somerset Tax Lists were made. After that, Worcester was formed in 1742 (no 1741 extant list).

On May 17 1743, John Holloway had the 30a tract RED OAK RIDGE surveyed for him in Worcester Co, MD as described as on a ridge of flat land between swamps on W side of Holloway's dwelling plantation [= TEAGUES CONTENT]. Then the 100a tract HOHNS DESIRE on Dec 5 1747.
