George Miles wrote his will Nov 18 1780 and it was probated in Somerset Jan 25 1791 -To Sarah Jones, Negroes "Jack" "Michah" and "Grace", all lands where I now dwell with those adjoining, to have for her single life, to have the other half of stock, beds and furniture, pewter ware and earthen ware, to have the remainder of personal estate for her single life -To Ruth Jones, daughter of Sarah Jones, parcel of land cont. 99 ac lying on Morumsco Creek, Negro woman "Sal" and her increase, half of bedding and furniture and half of stock of all kinds, half of pewter ware and earthen ware. -to have all lands where I now dwell and a parcel of land called "New Virginia" to have at the decease or remarriage of her mother. -To Mathias Miles, son of Mathias, to have lands left to Sarah and to Ruth, should Ruth die without issue Witnesses: George Irving, George Abbott, Joseph Austin.
