Henry Miles wrote his will Nov 19 1756 and it was probated in Somerset Feb 4 1761:
-To William Miles, son, tract of land called "Heart's Ease" parcel of land called "Hogg Pen Swamp" with condition that he let Henry Miles enjoy a piece of land that is entailed, 75 ac of marsh adjoining "Dixon's Hammock" and after his decease to his sons Henry and William, Mulatto man "Frank" Negro woman "Philis", an oval table. Should Henry die without heirs and should William have a son Samuel then Samuel is to inherit "White Oak" "Security" "Fathers Care" "Hovewell" with the exception of 30 acres already bequeathed, half of the still
-To Henry Miles, son, should William not allow him to enjoy the piece of land already entailed then Henry is to have as much out of "Heart's Ease", tracts of land : "White Oak" "Security" "Fathers Care" and "Hovewell", Negro woman "Lilley" Negro man "Robin" for whom Henry must pay Alice Wheatley ,5 paper money, a desk and half of still and an oval table, named executor along with William
-To Henry Miles, grandson, William Miles, grandson, sons of William, to have lands left to William after his decease to be divided as follows: beginning at the mouth of the great ditch & running up the ditch to a gate & from thence . . . to the end of the land
-To William Miles, grandson (son of Samuel Miles and Rebeccah), tract of land "Hazard" and the part of "Neglect" that is left adjoining to "Hazard" and four ac.
-To Mary Revel Bedsworth, daughter. Negro man "Whatt" during her widowhood, should she remarry then she is to keep "Whatt" until her son Henry Bedsworth comes of age And after Henry comes of age if he pays Alice Wheatley £5 paper money then "Whatt" is his, chest of drawers
-To Henry Bedsworth, grandson (son of Mary Revel Bedsworth), anvil & vise
-To William Bedsworth, grandson (son of Mary Revel Bedsworth). chest of drawers left to his mother to have at her decease
-To Rebeccah Miles, daughter, Negro woman "Dinah", 8 pounds out of the estate for "favours received during my sickness"

-To Michael Wheatley, grandson (son of Alice), to have the Negro levied out of the estate at his mother's decease.
-To Rachel Moore, granddaughter, 12 pounds to be raised out of the estate
