The proof that Sacker Kellam was a son of Solomon Kellam is based on the fact that when his will was probate (no Extr being named in the will) Charles Kellam qualified to settle his estate. There were 2 Charles Kallems living at that time, one was the son of Solomon and one the son of Stephen. Evidently the Charles that qualified to settle Sacker's estate was his half-brother Charles, the son of Solomon and his second wife Matilda Scarburgh Stewart, who named a son Charles Kellam in her will of 1792.
He bought land circa 1767 at Locustville, Acc Co, VA. It was in this year that Reuben Shield (wife Tabitha) left the John Nock part of tract A64 to his son Nichloas Shield and with his wife Becka soon sold small parcels to severl men, incuding Sacker Kellam.

It was on this date that his will was probated. Charles Kellam qualified.
He was named in a land cause on 29 November 1820 at White Marsh, Acc Co, VA. It was on this date that it was recorded that a certain Sacker Kellam late of this county was on the 24 Feb. 1795 seized of a tract of land situate in the White Marsh in the county aforesaid, containing 40 acres, and being so seized on that day duly made and published his last will and testament in which he devised to his wife Charity Kellam the said tract of land during her life or widowhood, with remainder to his sons Smith & Revell Kellam, to be divided equally between them, which said will was proved 29 June, 1795; that the said Revell Kellam mentioned in said will departed this life intestate in the year 1817 leaving three children, viz: your oratrixes Sarah and Nancy Kellam, infants, and a certain Revell Kellam; that the said Charity Kellam departed this life in the year 1819 &c
