John Outten II 1
John made a will on 29 August 1733 at Somerset Co, MD. In his will John Outten, planter, named wife Sarah Extr and gave her 1/3 of dwelling plantation _____ during widowhood and 1/3 of personal estate. To son John dwelling plantation ______; sale of 20 acres of Marchet's Treasure, bounded by Philip Conner, confirmed; and personality; said son dying without issue said lands to son Abraham. To son Purnell 50 acres which father ______ had alienated from old Philip Conner, land and marsh on N. side of a field known as Indian Field, and running W. to Wm. Conner's; said son dying without issue, aforesaid lands to son Obed. To daughters Mary Sturgess and Director, personality. To children Director, Purnell, Abraham, Obed, Tabitha and Edith, residue of estate equally. Witt: Robert Scott, Isaac Bell & Thomas Maddux. Codicil: 26 Nov 1735 - To son Purnell part of a tract of land bequeathed to John. To sons Abraham & Obed personality. Witt: William Conner, John Cottingham & Thomas Maddux. He died before 2 March 1735/36 at Somerset Co, MD. It was on this date that his will was proved. John married Sarah Purnell, daughter of Maj. John Purnell and Director Smith. (Sarah Purnell was born about 1692 in Somerset Co., MD.) |
