John Parsons had land tract "Rich Point" surveyed and patented for him on Oct 4 1748 in Worcester Co., MD. It was for 50a and its first bound was described as on a point of woods between swamps on the south most side of Parsons' plantation. (WoCert:2174). In the modern day (2017), this tract is located in eastern Wicomico Co. on Rohm Road about halfway between its intersection with Sixty Foot and Seymore Roads.
John married Mary Smith on 03 Apr 1789 in Somerset Co., MD. (Mary Smith was born about 1702 in Somerset Co., MD and died about 1758.)
