Funeral of Mrs. M.A. Shiles. Funeral services over the remains of Mrs. Mary A. Shiles, widow of John W. Shiles, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary E. Lynham, 213 9th street southwest, yesterday, will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The interment will be in Congressional cemetery. Mrs. Shiles, who was born in Sussex county, Del., November 15, 1822, had been an invalid for more than a year. She was married March 17, 1841, and came to Washington the next year. She was an active member of the Metropolitan Methodist Episcopal Church since its organization. One son, Charles W. Shiles, and her daughter, Mrs. Lynham, survive her.
