May 6 1664 in Accomack Co., VA: In his undated will John Major gave to brother Richard Johnson a mare in culler gray and my bed and what belongs thereunto and my wearing cloathes. Cousin (meaning nephew) William Waller. Sister Elizabeth Johnson a red cow and her increase. Godson Owen Ocollena. Plantation to be divided between brother Richard Johnson & William Waller, my mother loving (sic) upon the said plantation as long as she is in ye condition she is in. To my mother my servants, she maintaining my brother Richard, reversion to brother Richard Johnson. Brother William Major & Andrew Finnie overseers over what is left unto the children. 1713: Somerset Co., MD: It was on this date that administration on the estate of Wm. Waller was granted to Bridget Waller, with John Laws & Robert Laws securities. His inventory was signed as next of kin: John Waller & Major Waller. The estate was valued at £107.6.0. (Miles Files)
