Information on this line was gleaned from a pleasant meeting this compiler had with descendants of Henrietta Hitch (later Washburn) on Aug 29 2001. In attendance were Eunicelee (Washburn) (Johnson) Hupke and Van Hitch. Eunicelee descends from Henrietta through her marriage to William H. Washburn in 1874 (as granddaughter). Van descends from Henrietta through her daughter Delina Hitch who was born to Henrietta before her marriage to Washburn. Eunicelee particularly remembers "Linie" Hitch being a half-sister to her father Levin Henry Washburn - both offspring of Henrietta Hitch. As you can imagine, this line was a "stumper" to this compiler for a long time before it was finally solved at this meeting!
