Listed in the 1810 Census for Wicomico Hundred, Somerset Co., MD with household 00010-11110, three doors down from Robert Hitch. In 1820, it is 100001-10100 in Election District 2.
On Feb 11 1802, Loudy Price bought from Elizabeth White, 2a of a tract "Monsham" at corner of John Jones land at the head of Wicomico Creek and on east side of the county road that goes afrom Adams Mills to a place called The Trap. (SoLR-N:465) On Jan 8 1818, Louther Price sold for $200 to George Drura land "Monsham", land that he had purchased of Elizabeth White. The first bound of the land is at the corner of John Jones land. (SoLR-JD3:155) On Nov 13 1819, Lowther Price bought 3.5a of land from William/Mary Marshall for $300 part of tract "Laytons Discovery" (SoLR-JD5:218) (Compiler's note: "Laytons Discovery" is on the south bank of the Wicomico River bordering the Upper Ferry landing to its east)
Somerset Co. Orphan's Court mentions John Chatham (as Chittam) as administrator of Louther Price on Mar 27 1821. (SoOCP-1811/23:124) (SoAA-JP5:221)
