"Death of Mrs. Hayden
The remains of Mrs. Annie T. Hayden were brought from Norfolk last
Saturday and interred in the family burying ground at her fathers home
in Spring Hill last Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Hayden was a daughter of
George Hitch, Esq, and was married to Wm. T. Hayden of Norfolk in
1876. She was then a bright and exceedingly handsome lady of 23 years.
Death was caused from consumption, from which she had suffered for the
past two years. she had a great many friends and acquaintances in the
county, she had been a member from her childhood of the Protestant
Episcopal Church."
