1 E-Mail from Glenna Burnett - 4/25/2000 (1:59 AM). Includes copy of the Delayed Birth Certificate for Henry Strong Hitch Jr. It states Henry S. Hitch was born on Nov 4 1926 to Henry Strong Hitch and Whilemina Outten. The former was 45 years old when he was born and the latter, age 38. It further states that the father was born in Seaford, DE and was a carpenter and the mother was also born in Seaford and was a housewife. The records states (and is a little confusing on this fact) that Henry S. Hitch Jr. was second in birth order and that there were evidently 4 children in total in the family of which two died very young. The father vouched for the record, indicating he was still living at the time of his signature on Jun 30 1960. One proof to the record provided was a mention of Henry S. Hitch's marriage certificate of Jan 24 1956. Another is his Honorable Discharge on Apr 28 1958.
