It further states that the father was born in Seaford, DE and was a carpenter and the mother was also born in Seaford and was a housewife. The records states (and is a little confusing on this fact) that Henry S. Hitch Jr. was second in birth order and that there were evidently 4 children in total in the family of which two died very young. The father vouched for the record, indicating he was still living at the time of his signature on Jun 30 1960. One proof to the record provided was a mention of Henry S. Hitch's marriage certificate of Jan 24 1956 issued at the American Embassy in Tokyo, Japan. Another is his Honorable Discharge from the service on Apr 28 1958. Henry married Setsiko Muruno on 24 Jan 1956 in Tokyo, Japan.1 (Setsiko Muruno died after 2010.)
