Bell, 81, of Hudson died at 2:10 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, 1996, at Apostolic Christian Home in Eureka. Born Nov. 13, 1914, in Hudson to E.P. and Hazel Hitch Humphries, she married W. Edwin Bell on Nov. 9, 1932, in McLean County. He died May 1, 1986. One daughter and two grandchildren also preceded her in death. Surviving are one son, Laurence P. of Heyworth; two daughters, Nancy L. Diedrich of White Heath and Judith Hunter of Heyworth; one sister, Evelyn June Kuritz of Hudson; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was a secretary at Country Companies in Bloomington for 13 years. She was a drapery consultant at Kemm's Draperies in Bloomington for 13 years. She was a member of the Hudson United Methodist Church. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at her church. The Rev. Larry Moreau will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in Hudson Cemetery. Arrangements are by Froelich Memorial Home in El Paso. Memorials may be made to her church, American Cancer Society or the Cornbelt Diabetes Association.
