Hello,

I'm Rosanna McMullin Wisener and I am trying to locate information on William Madison and Elizabeth Betsy Petty McMullen. They were Jasper Newton's parents and I see Mary is Jasper's sister.

I have some limited information on them. I just requested their marriage license from Morgantown,Ky dated 10/10/1816 or 10/08/1816, found William was born in 1793 in Ky, found him in 1820 census in Morgantown, Ky and then again in 1850 in White River, Gibson County Indiana.

I can't seem to locate any further whether it be an actual birth date and location as well as date of death and location. I know information on his wife, but not him.

I recently found a family member in MO and she said she had a note from a great aunt that William Madison McMullen's father may be a John Alexander McMullen.

My apologies for inundating you with so much information. Perhaps you can help and now I have possibly found another distant relative.

William married Elizabeth Petty on 08 Oct 1816 in Butler Co., KY. (Elizabeth Petty was born about 1793 in SC.)
