Roger Turnall
(Abt 1640-1694/1695) |
Roger Turnall 1
Roger patented land in 1664 that Whitelaw (1968) denotes as tract A107, Lee Mont, Accomack Co, VA. It was in this year that Thomas O'Rily received a patent for 600 acres for Whitelaw's tract A107. A few years later O'Riley sold the eastern half to Roger Turnall (as Ternon), who received a patent in his own name for his 300 acres and at the same time O'Rily received a new patent for his remaining 300 acres. The division line between O'Rily and Turnall went through the present village of Lee Mont, which at one time was called Woodstock. Roger married Ann (?) about 1672 in Accomack Co., VA. (Ann (?) was born about 1652.) |
