MARGARET HITCH, 67, of Abilene died Dec. 26. Services were Dec. 30. Mrs. Hitch was born in Denver. She married Edward Hitch, 1953. She worked for Bell Telephone Co., a pharmacy, and a nursery. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She was a Red Cross volunteer at Dyess Hospital. Survivors include sons Phillip of Illinois and Rodney of Texas; mother Margaret Lattimer of Manzanola; father Leslie Watts of Denver; sisters Phyllus Kaufman and Christine Jesop, both of Denver, Elizabeth Watts of Lubbock; brothers Edward Lattimer of Greeley and Leslie Watts of Colorado Springs; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Margaret married Edward Thomas Hitch, son of Edward Edwin Hitch and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Geitner, on 25 Jul 1953 in Randolph Afb, Near San Antonio, TX.1 (Edward Thomas Hitch was born on 26 Mar 1933 in Palmyra, Jefferson Co., WI 1 and died on 29 Dec 1997 in Abilene, Taylor Co., TX 4 5.) |
