B:082 James McElvane 8 April 1754 To wife Frances - the land, houses and buildings whereon I now live at Cool Spring for her natural life; except that hereafter given. Also third of personal estate. Also Negro fellow named Justice and wench named Sib for her lifetime To son David - the land, houses and buildings whereon I now live after wife's death. That he is to have the liberty to build on said land at the cross roads and to improve the northward and southward of the same. Also that he may tend the field formerly called Becky Carnell's . Also one mare and bed and bolster. If David dies without issue, then this to all my children To son Robert - the land, houses and buildings whereon he now lives. If Robert dies without issue, then this to all my children To son Andrew - the land, houses and buildings whereon he now lives. If Andrew dies without issue, then this to all my children To son James - the land, houses and buildings whereon he now dwells and whereon I lately lived in Indian River Hundred.
