In the June 1788 Worcester Orphan's court, it assigned Lazarus Maddus of Lazarus (age 7 on Sep 12 last), guardian George Pusey (as Pewsey) and Sophia his wife. This indicates that Sophia (Greer) (Maddux) Pusey had married George Pusey prior to Jun 1788. (WoOCP-JW15:448)
On Aug 2 1793, Sophia Pewsey (late Sophia Maddux), executrix of Lazarus Maddux, presented a 2nd accounting of his estate amounting in £140.19.52. It added debt collected from Aaron Tilghman and subtracted money paid to Levin Handy (Register of Wills), commissions allowed the accountant, which resulted in a balance of £145.9.2.
