Anna Louise Hitch
The following is from a family history sent to me by Stephen J. Hitch of Kent, WA in 1997: "Anna Louise Hitch married Herbert E. McKinney in Everett, WA July 2, 1928. Herb was born Oct. 8, 1910. They met when Herb came to visit her brother, Harve, who had been injured with some fireworks. Harve and Herb walked to school together since they only lived two blocks apart and went to the same school. Herb was mainly a building contractor. He built several nice homes in the Everett and Mukilteo areas. Herb died in 1977 after a lingering illness. Lou was a homemaker, waitress, and short order cook, starting at the Triple X Barrel, she also cooked at Davies Resort at Lake Stevens, and the Grand Central Market Restaurant in Everett. During the war she was a welder at the Everett shipyard. When Herb began building houses she became a carpenter's helper and painter."
Anna married Herbert (Herb) E. McKinney on 02 Jul 1928 in Everett, WA.1 (Herbert (Herb) E. McKinney was born on 08 Oct 1910 1 and died in 1977 in WA 1.)
Anna next married Gordon Wright on 20 Jul 1982 in WA.1 (Gordon Wright died in 1995 in WA.) |
