Notes from Steve Hitch (10/22/2000): "Harold Glen Hitch was born in Barren County Kentucky on Augu7st 11, 1923 to earnest Ray and Lois Victoria (Jewell) Hitch. Siblings: Herman R., Kenneth James, Joseph, Lois Ann and Robert resided: Barren Co. Ky until his parents moved to Indiana. Lived Sedelia and Geetingsville area until his father died. Moved in with his Uncle Carl in Rossville Indiana. Bought a home in Rossville and lived there until his death in 1987. Married Belauh Virginia Jewell May 15, 1943 in Rossville Indiana. Children: Nancy, Janet, Irene and Richard. Military Service: Serviced in the Army during WWII. Occupation: Worked for the Railroad. Died September 5, 1987 in Rossville and is buried there."
