"E. Prentiss Peabody.
Waycross, Ga., Sept. 21 - E. Prentiss Peabody, a well-known business man of this place, died this morning as the result of being kicked by a horse Monday in a runaway accident while trying to save his wife and little girl from the horse's hoofs. Mrs. Peabody suffered a broken rib. Mr. Peabody was a well-known church worker and was a member of the national board of management of the Epworth League"
