William Richard Womach "Dick" Age 58, of Delray Beach, FL died Monday, September 30, 2002 at the Hospice by the Sea Care Center in Boca Raton, FL. Mr. Womach was born in Milford, DE. He graduated from Laurel High School in 1962, graduated from the University of Delaware in 1966, where he was a member of the KOA Fraternity. He also received a Certification in UNIX, C++,TCP/IP, Networking from George Washington University in 1994. In his career as a Management Information Services (MIS) Manager, he directed automation of large manufacturing facilities at multi-national conglomerates, and directed Systems Integration of large and complex systems utilizing multiple hardware and software products. He was a member of the Society of Information Management Systems, the Data Processing Management Association, the Masonic Blue Lodge, the Delray Beach Camera Club, and the National Audubon Society. As an avocation, he was a popular award winning photographer in the southeast and has published many picture series of his work from the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, the hills of NC, the red rock of AZ and UT and the tropical wonders of south FL. He is survived by his wife, Tama Womach of Delray Beach, FL; son, W. Brian Womach of Dotham, AL; a daughter; Kristine E. Rodenizer and her husband, Curtis, of Lexington Park, MD; a grandson, Aaron Rodenizer, of Lexington Park, MD; 2 step sons; Carl Guglielmino and his wife, Karin of Mahwah, NJ, and Jeffrey Guglielmino of Milford, DE; mother, Emily H. Womach of Gaithersburg, MD; 3 aunts, Carolyn Wright and Janet Womach, both of Laurel, DE and Caroline Hiten of Milford, DE; as well as 13 cousins; 21 second cousins. He was the son of the late William S. Womach. Masonic service will be held on Saturday, October 5 at 11 am, followed by the funeral service at SHORT FUNERAL HOME, 700 West St., Laurel, DE where friends may call from 10 - 11 am. Rev. Dr. Michaele Russell officiating. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Laurel, DE. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society , 228C N. DuPont Highway, Georgetown, DE 19947.
