On Mar 4 1776, there is a warrant of resurvey, from Pennsylvania (modern Sussex, DE) granted to Robert Clarkson (dec'd) that directed a survey to add vacancy to his part of MIDDLE TRACT. Survey made on Jul 5 1776 to Robert Clarkson, but not patented till Apr 12 1797, found 49.5a in his part and added 300a vacancy. Clarkson died and devised all his lands to his two daughters - Lisha, who since had married to Jonathan Jacobs and Allefair who remains single.This survey is Allefair Clarkson's part that adjoins the part of her sister - 67.875a.

To daughter Lisha Clarkson - my dwelling plantation with my lands both old and new land beginning at a white oak standing on the north side of the path that leads from my dwelling plantation to the place where James Powell lives and running to a red oak being the corner tree of a tract laid out for Judah Chipman and then running to intersect a line of William Rickard's land. The land east of said marks to be hers
To the heirs of my daughters Phillis Lednum and Sally Wright - land if daughter Lisha or daughter Alafare die without heir
To daughter Alafare Clarkson - remainder of my land
That Negro girl Milla and Negro boy Isaac to be free when that are 21 years old
To all my children - an equal share of movable estate
