Martha Louise Bryant Hitch, 92, of Christian Health Center, died at 1:20 p.m. Sunday, May 13, 2018, at Christian Health Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home in Hopkinsville with Phil Crofford officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from noon until the service time Wednesday at the funeral home. A native of Christian County, she was born Sept. 24, 1925, the daughter of the late Jesse James Bryant and Jennie Agnes Wallis Bryant. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arch Henderson Hitch; a brother and a sister.

Martha married Archibald Henderson Hitch, son of William Burrell Hitch and Mary Ella Crabtree. (Archibald Henderson Hitch was born on 20 Jul 1914 in TN,^{1 2} died on 14 May 1997 in Christian Co., KY ³ and was buried about 17 May 1997 in Green Hill Memorial Gardens, Christian Co., KY.)
