Frederick Wayne "Joe" Glasgow Sr.
Salisbury - Frederick Wayne "Joe" Glasgow, Sr., 77, of Salisbury died on Friday, July 20, 2018 at his home. Born on November 18, 1940 in Salisbury, he was the son of the late Fred John Glasgow and Evelyn Beauchamp Glasgow. He worked for DuPont in Seaford Nylon Plant for 32 ½ years and retired in 1993. He also worked for Wilkins Security followed by Whittington Trucking. He was a lifetime member of the Fruitland Volunteer Fire Department and also the Red Men's Lodge - Tony Tank #149.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years Heidi Coleman Glasgow; his sons Wayne Glasgow, Jr. (Vivian), John Glasgow, Sr. (Dollie); daughter, Eve Conner (Mark Fadely); step daughters, Amber Whaley (Skip Robbie Robertson Dixon), Jasmine Carroll (Lance); 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving him are his special friends, Fred Lawson and Jacklyn Andress. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell, Alfred and Willard Glasgow; two sisters, Betsy Elizabeth Wilkins and Irene Dewey. A Celebration of Joe's life service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Red Men's Lodge-Tony Tank #149.
