The funeral of Mrs. Helen Reddish, one of the oldest residents of Curtis Bay, took place from the home of her son, Purnell E. Reddish, Curtis Bay, on 30 May 1912. She was also survived by two others sons, George M. and John F. Reddish; and two daughters, Mrs. William H. Grooms and Mrs. John Keating. She was the wife of late Purnell Reddish, Sr. (c. 1820 - 1899), who was a contractor in the county. Services were conducted by Rev J. W. Gray, formerly of Brooklyn Methodist Protestant Church. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The pallbearers were Thomas Groom, Harry Beale, Norman Reddish, Arthur Reddish, Curtis Reddish and Harry Reddish.
