John Evans

John deeded land as a gift in 1693 at Accomack Co, VA. It was in this year that John Evans deeded 650 acres of Whitelaw's tact A158 (between Sanford & Grotons on the Pocomoke River) to his daughters. His daughter Grace and her husband Symon Smith were to have the western 200 acres for their lives and then it was to go to their son Symon, while his daughters Sarah and Susannah were to divide the remaining 450 acres.

John died before Mar 17 1695 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that Sarah Evans, widow of said John Evans, was named to settle his estate. Gervas Baggaly was the security.

John married Sarah (?) about 1659. (Sarah (?) was born about 1640 and died before 03 Mar 1713 in Accomack Co., VA.)
