Joshua Stewart

Joshua Stewart wrote his will on Dec 9 1858 and it was proven in Montgomery Co., MD on Oct 17 1860 as:
- To my slaves Charles, Isaac, Thomas, James and Anna their freedom from the point of my death.
- To my young negro girl Emma I also give her freedom when she arrives at a lawful age.
- To my daughter Lucy Matilda Pope all the rest of my estate after debts are paid.
- Friends Washington Waters, Dr. William A. Waters and William Thompson (of R) to be executors
