William Luddington took the oath of allegiance to hereby engage and promise to be true and faithful to the Commonwealth of England as it is now established without King or House of Lords on 30 March 1651 at Northampton Co, VA. He was shown as William Luddington. He died before 28 April 1653 at Northampton Co, VA. It was on this date that administration on the estate of William Luddington was granted to Nathaniel Littleton, Esq. as major creditor of the dec'd, on behalf of the widow Garterude. The court ordered that Samuel and Robert Luddington were to receive their clothes out of the estate. William married Garterude (?). (Garterude (?) was born about 1615.) |
