This James Noble seems to have originally bought land in what is now Worcester Co., MD by June of 1727. All the other Nobles remained in old Somerset Co.
On May 25 1734 Patrick Guthrie [Guttery], planter, et ux. Angelica Guthrie, sold tract HOUSTONS LOT to James Noble, planter. (SoLR-AZ:160). On Mar 8 1755, James Noble Sr. sold land to James Noble Jr., 50a of EXCHANGE and 37 ac of HOUSTONS LOT (SoLR-C:293). On Sep 14 1759, 44a of EXCHANGE and 18a of HOUSTONS LOT was sold by James Noble, planter, to Mary Ward and James Ward (SoLR-D:447)
James Noble, Sr. wrote his will on Apr 3 1768 and it was proven in Worcester Co., MD on Feb 20 1769 as:
To wife Mary Noble: use of dwelling plantation for widowhood, HOUSTONS LOT
To Isaac Morris: amount of bond taken up by my sons Jonathan Noble and James Noble on my behalf.
To sons Jonathan Noble and James Noble and daughters Mary Shockley, Elizabeth Davis, Rachel Porter, Naomi Dikes, Collibra Christopher: one shilling.
To son Levin Noble, 100a CONSTANTINOPLE
To wife Mary Noble, son Levin Noble and daughters Sarah Noble and Leah Noble: remainder of estate.
Executor: son Levin Noble.
