James Lawson Sterling
James L. Sterling, a native of Crisfield but who has been engaged in the oyster packing business at Cape Charles, where he resided for the past 30 years, died at his home in the Virginia town on Tuesday last. His death was due to heart trouble from which he had suffered for the past two years, and which, it is thought, was brought on by the strain sustained while launching a scow. Rooks was born on 18 Aug 1861 in Capeville, Northampton Co., VA,1 died on 14 Sep 1918 in Northampton Co., VA and was buried about 17 Sep 1918 in Cape Charles Cemetery, Cape Charles, Northampton Co., VA.) |
