Peter Parsons had land surveyed for him on Mar 20 1759 and received a patent for same on the same day. The tract is named "Cabin Ridge" and contained 15a of land (WoCert:0423). On Aug 7 1760, Peter Parsons purchased 44a of land which was the entire tract "Williams Privilege" from George Magee and Sarah his wife (WoLR-E:31).

Peter Parsons wrote his will on May 15 1762 and it was proven in Worcester Co. on Nov 3 1762
- To beloved wife Martha, the benefit of my lands and personal estate for her widowhood except what I hereafter give to son Joshua
- To son Porter, 44a of land in tract "Williams Privilege" and if he dies w/o issue then his part to go to the child that my wife now carries
- To son John, 50a of land called "Rich Point" and 15a called "Cabin Ridge" and all that land I am in partnership with Jarman Bethard
- To son Joshua, a common warrant in the surveyor's hands called "Piney Beaver Dams" containing 45a plus £3.10.0 to be applied to securing the afsd land. If Joshua dies w/o heirs, daughter Nelly to get this
- The rest of my estate to be divided between daughter Nelly and the child that my wife is now big with
Witnesses: Schoolfield Parker, Jarman Bethards, Job Truitt
Martha Parsons widow and relict of Peter Parsons rejects her bequeaths in the will and elects to take her widow's thirds instead (WoW-1759/69:61).
