On Sep 11 1784, Zachariah Parsons purchased 197a of land from Stanton Adkins Sr. for £100 lawful money of Maryland that was part of the 815a tract "Deer Harbour" (WoLR-L:45). On May 29 1793, Zachariah Parsons purchased 15a of land in the tract "Cabin Ridge" from John Parsons for £10. It was land described as patented by Peter Parsons in 1759. (WoLR-P:42)
Zachariah Parsons had land tract "Addition to Rich Point" surveyed for him in Worcester Co. on Nov 21 1801 and received patent for same on May 24 1803 for 20a (WoCert:0147). This tract in the modern day is located in eastern Wicomico Co. in the north part of the area enclosed by Rohm, Seymore and Sixty Foot Roads.
On Mar 30 1811, Zachariah Parsons received of George and Elijah Parsons, executors of George Parsons, $127.79, "my part of my wife's father's estate." (WoOCP-MH15:412) This connects Abigail Parsons of George to Zachariah Parsons as husband/wife.
In the 1820 census, Zachariah Parsons is listed as head of household in Worcester Co. as 111301-01010. In 1830, his household consists of 0000201010000-0001000010000 (suggesting he is age 60-70 at the time).
On Jul 8 1839, Zachariah Parsons transferred 20a of land in tract "Rich Point" and 20a of "Addition to Rich Point" to his daughter Leah Parsons for consideration of natural love and affection and for her maintenance and livelihood during her lifetime and then to her daughter Sarah Ann Elizabeth Parsons after her death. On the same day, he sold to Leah Parsons for $75, 26a of land in the tract "Deer Harbour" (WoLR-GMH2:430,431).
On Jul 1 1840, Zachariah Parsons sold 30a of land in "Deer Harbour" and "Addition to Inheritance" to Peter P. Parsons. Lands adjoin Zachariah's land and that of Daniel T. Truitt, George Riggson, John I. Parsons, John Campbell, (WoLR-GMH3:447)
Zachariah married Abigail Parsons, daughter of George Parsons and Temperance Sirman. (Abigail Parsons was born about 1780 in Worcester Co., MD.)
