*Uncertain father of Samuel Fisher in this line. We can practically rule him out based upon other items (Jan 11 2017). Our Samuel Fisher was in Queen Annes Co., MD in 1840-1860. The Samuel of Richard below stayed in Mispillion Hundred in DE.
Richard Fisher wrote his will on Feb 20 1823 and it was proven on Apr 1 1823 as:
- To eldest son Samuel Fisher, 160a of land whereon he now lives adjoining lands of James Hopkins, Henry Wroten and Taus? Jump. Also, he to be executor
- To youngest son Jabez, adjoining land given to son Samuel and James Hopkins land
- To second son Richard, all remaining real estate adjoining Michael Hickman's heirs
- To daughter Darchus Broadaway,
- To daughter Rebecca Spence?
